Background/Approach


The fact that everybody is unique at a biochemical level is an important thing to realise when dealing with a person's health, in fact it's critical in regards to patient success. Our individual differences are evident in our fingerprints, our eye colour, facial features, even our organ size and locations, and amazingly, contrary to main press publications, we all have very different nutritional requirements as a result. 'One-size-fits-all' approaches have proved over time that they fail miserably. We have become a diseased society as a result of this approach.

The old saying 'one man's food is another's poison' comes to mind and helps you understand why some people can tolerate certain foods or lifestyle practices while others cannot. Brent uses the proven platform of Metabolic Typing (MT) to accurately determine what nutrients (foods) a client needs to be eating to stay healthy, as well as identifying foods that will lead them to poor health. It is essential to know a person's Metabolic Type before you advise them on what they should be eating in order to maximise their health, otherwise you are simply guessing with their health. This guess work keeps the person on a never ending roller coaster ride from one Practitioner, one diet, etc to another. The end result for that person is lost time, lost money and no resolution to their health. In my eyes a total waste of time. It's also very frustrating for them.

Gone are the days of not knowing what foods a person should be eating to build their health; welcome to 'individualised, personalised nutrition'. And it works with any and all individuals due to its metabolically individualised nature - it is uniquely matched to their metabolism so it works. Brent states 'giving the body, on a daily basis, the right nutrients allows it to make powerful changes...better mood, more energy, weight loss, stronger glands and organs, stable blood sugars, even control over those horrible cravings'. Metabolic Typing allows the client to build their health from a cellular level and people enjoy great success when they eat according to their Metabolic TypeTM. You simply have to build your health upon a stable platform of metabolically appropriate foods for your unique Metabolic Type. Why? Because it is not only what your body is made from but it is also what it runs on.

On top of that Brent also specialises in a special area of medicine called 'functional diagnostic nutrition' (FDN), a specific branch of nutrition to ascertain the 'level of function' to the immune, digestion, detoxification and hormone systems: the '4 Pillars of Health'. 99% of people's symptoms these days are a direct result of a drop in function across one or several of these critical systems. This is why people often feel unwell and present with a host of seemingly non-related symptomology. Doctors get lost in their approach with these people as they try to treat each symptom while ignoring the true cause of why the symptoms exist in the first place. This can be very frustrating and costly for the patient. The detailed analysis involved in both MT and FDN enables Brent to find the 'causal' level of a person's health complaint(s), or why they have those symptoms in the first place. Once these factors are properly and accurately identified a 90 day program is given to the client to restore function to these important systems thus typically alleviating them in the process and bringing a permanent resolution to the patient's health concern(s).

In addition Brent is also a Holistic Lifestyle Coach trained in the areas of wellness, stress management and lifestyle coaching. His proven 'holistic' methodologies where the body is treated as a whole rather than a series of sub-systems can make a real difference in a person's daily life - who would have thought lower back pain can come from financial stress for instance.

Brent is available for appointments throughout the week. Daytime, evening and weekend appointments are available.

Your first consultation with Brent is free so you have an opportunity to learn about his services at no cost.

At your free initial consultation, Brent will determine what approach will best fit your situation, and outline how his program works.

You will have a lot of intake forms and questionnaires to complete PRIOR to the consultation. These are sent to you at the time of your phone booking by mail or email. Takes approximately 2-3 hours to complete.

Following your first consult, if you decide to undertake one of Brents programs, payments may be made in full, or for programs over $400 in value, in installments.
