Background/Approach


Herion Lee is a qualified Chinese Medicine practitioner trained in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. She received her training at the University of Technology, Sydney. During her course, she was awarded academic excellence twice, demonstrating her passion and skills in TCM and completed her internship at one of China's leading hospitals (China- Japan Friendship Hospital) in Beijing.

In addition to her studies in TCM, Herion has completed a Bachelor of Biochemistry. With her dual qualifications, Herion integrates the principles of both Western medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine to provide the best care for her patients.

Herion has a particular interest in women's health and fertility, and is fortunate to also have assisted Jane Lyttleton at the acupuncture IVF support clinic in the city. Jane is a Chinese Medicine practitioner well known for her work with infertility.

Herion is currently (2011-2013) completing a bachelor of Midwifry at UTS.

Herion believes that our lives are a series of challenges. For her patients to face their challenges with optimism and courage, she wants to be the support to reawaken the spirit in their daily life. Herion puts profound value on compassion and care for others, which she feels, are important qualities of a health care professional.

IVF clients please note: If you are planning to undertake, or are undertaking an IVF cycle with donor sperm or donor eggs, Herion requests that you see one of our other practitioners.

Herion requests this due to her personal beliefs; that every child has a right to be born, loved and raised by their biological parents.

Herion is happy to assist partners who are undertaking or plan to undertake IVF with their own sperm and eggs.

Appointment times

Herion is available for appointments on Saturdays, 8am to 5pm.

Fees

Your first consultation with Herion will cost $70*, and standard consultations are $60*.

We accept Cash, EFTPOS, VISA, Mastercard, and American Express. HICAPS is availalbe on site for immediate health fund rebates.

*Most private health funds provide a modest rebate for Acupuncture services as part of their 'extras' packages. For more details please see our FAQ page.

Bookings

To make a booking, call the clinic on 9878 5021 between 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday, or 8am and 6pm on Saturday (Closed Sundays and public holidays).
